Wanted to post our hot-off-the-press poster for Story, Story Night because it’s now one of my favorite Toby illustrations. Also wanted to plug the event, which is coming up on June 21 at Boise’s Linen Building. If you haven’t been to a Story, Story Night yet, you must, must go to this next one; it’s a wonderfully hilarious way to spend an evening. Thanks to Jessica Holmes for organizing one of Boise’s best events, and to the storytellers for their absolute bravery.

Getting settled into our new office in the Eagle’s Building in downtown Boise. It’s a great space, so we now are on the hunt for “professional” furniture that reflects our VIP status. We contained ourselves during our office-furniture-shopping trip to Renewal, actually refraining from purchasing one of several big ol’ funky couches that we normally gravitate toward. I do have my eye on a set of very cool vintage white chairs there, but I have to wait until May 12 until they are reduced to half price. So, you can come visit after May 12, when you can actually sit down.
We’re happy to announce that we’ll be working with Life’s Doors Hospice to design their new site and possibly partner on marketing and PR opps. Excited to do work for good people doing good things.
Alley Repertory Theater’s Alley Underground is presenting the supposed-to-be-hilarious SEX aka Weiners & Boobs from Dec. 9 to 19 at the VaC. We’ll be there laughing at all the potty humor. Get tickets now.
Check out the newly launched logo and site for Target Date Analytics, an LA-based firm that analyzes and manages target-date funds. Yeah, we didn’t know what those were, either, at first, but now we kinda get it. These guys are super nice and organized, even though they’re important enough to be on CNN and testify in front of Congress regarding the state of retirement planning.
One solid year down the hatch. We’re super psyched to still be alive and kicking—and to even have enough money in the bank to pay our 2009 taxes. We’ve gotten to stretch our brains this year in ways we haven’t before, and have been lucky enough to work with clients who are happy to take some creative risks.
With some lessons learned under our belt, and a renewed excitement for what lies ahead in 2010, we’re pretty dang happy. And best of all, we still like working together.
Have a new campaign or project you’re excited about? Let’s get together to talk shop. We’ll make it fun, promise. But, of course, we’ll also take it seriously. Would that be seriously fun, then? Or funly serious?
